Mr. Biggs Bites a Jerseyite

Dineen Rudd of Fair Lawn, New Jersey has filed a lawsuit in New York City after being bitten by a "ferocious", "wild and unruly" horse named Mr. Biggs near Porky's, a Chelsea bar, last summer. Ms Rudd claims that she has "permanent injuries" according to the New York Post. Mr. Biggs is a member of the NYPD's Mounted Unit. You gotta love it !

It always feels good to beat Florida State and C.J. Spiller had a great night. If there is a better all around running back in the country I am not aware of him. Kyle Parker, our redshirt freshman quarterback, had a good game too. Now if we can beat N.C. State and Virginia we will be in the ACC Championship. Our chances are looking better all of the time. Go Tigers !!

Question of the Day (Illegal Aliens)

(Q)  In what negative ways (if any) do illegal aliens impact our nation ? Please elaborate .

10.2 % Unemployment (Some Thoughts)

The latest unemployment rate as given by our government is 10.2%. It may actually be in the neighborhood of 17.5-20.0% if you consider people who have given up trying to find jobs and part time workers et cetera. At any rate, it is a gloomy picture and the powers that be seem to be using bandaids when trauma solutions are needed. Wall Street (if we believe the media) seems to be getting fatter e.g. Goldman Sachs. Americans are discouraged by the bad economy and fed up (in many cases) with old solutions that don't help alleviate the dismal financial situation. Something has to be done, because if this goes on much longer we may not be able to come out of it for a long time.

The World Is Going Mad (Some Examples)

(1)  Witness the madness at Fort Hood in Texas.

(2)  Situational ethics make anything possible and defensible in a lot of people's eyes.

(3)  Killing in the name of religion.

(4)  Have you checked out kids video games yet ? Murder, mayhem and carnage.

(5)  Western Civilization is in decline. Look around if you don't believe me.
