" Can you imagine anything more horrible than government by professors! " - Georges Sorel (1847 - 1922), French Social Philosopher. Sorel may have had a valid point here. Academicians generally do not have the ability to govern - let them stay in the halls of academe. Sorel was a mover and shaker in syndicalism a movement similar to anarchism that has pretty much disappeared in today's world. I know this due to having studied it when I was a member of the IWW (Wobblies) many years ago.

That's a very true statement. It seems colleges and universities are trying to rule from their classrooms.
When I first glanced at the statement, I thought it said,
"Can you imagine anything more horrible than government by PROFESSIONALS"
That's what we have now pretty much, professional politicians. That's not working out so well. Maybe it's time for term limits.
