It Is (poem)

It is

EVIDENT to me

That a lot of people today

Have no clue

As to what is going on in the world.

IGNORANCE afflicts them

And is glorified -

Sad to say -

In their actions.

Your poem sums up the truth very effectively.

Absent a clear and present danger that they have shoved in their face on at least an hourly basis, that syndrome is ageless and the Syrian wolf still descends upon the fold and the adversary still roams like a hungry lion.

Hi Mike!
I finally made it to your site! It's great! I especially like this one since it is such a truism!
