Voting

I just want to say this as regards the upcoming election. Get out and vote or shut the hell up when you are disgruntled with the government and your elected officials. I often hear asundry excuses for not voting and I cringe. It is a small price to pay for freedom. Others (God bless them) have paid the ultimate price. If you like McCain or Obama then show your support by voting ! That is,after all, the American way.

walking down the street

turning heads

amid wolf whistles

and glares.

Just a Thought

Is it me or some folks over on the Right going off the deep end ? Just so you know the election is still a few days away. Don't you have faith in McCain and Palin ? And why does it appear that so many Americans support Obama and Biden ? Are they all socialists and communists ? Get a grip !!

i met a man

who forgot the war,

that is the one before our war.

we talked

about why he never went back home

and why he was alone,

walking the streets,

His war

took his memory and his hope,

so he stayed,

Ratings and personalities,

Little substance I think.

The earth is screaming in pain

And we are worshipping profit margins.

Wall Street sold out to the god of greed

And now we save their asses.

Wars and rumors of war

(Peace with victory and honor being trumpeted)

And religious fanaticism.

Political slander and lies :

The Twin Towers in rubble

Futility be damned.

America, I have had enough  .
