Examine What You Read

Examine what you read before you accept it as fact. On a site called Really Funny Clean Jokes and Humor, I found this assertion. "Dolphins kill more people annually than sharks and influenza combined." Can this be true ? First of it comes from a joke site; however, I think that if one said it in a serious vein some gullable people might accept it as fact without thinking for themselves. So people check what is purported to be and is presented as fact. Some people assert that Judge Sonia Sotomayor is a racist, but can they prove it ? The best way to deal with a canard is to meet it with the Truth. Limbaugh and Gingrich take note .
