I am in airports frequently and one thing that I notice is that many folks seem to be reading. I understand that they have little else to do in such a captive atmosphere and Lord knows it does my heart good to see them broadening their horizons. My question is : What was the last book that you read (in part) in an airport or on an airplane in transit ?

For me it's usually a paperback thriller, nothing better is usable in the airport. Thus not memorable. Cannot read in flight - usually sleeping or in a self-induced coma for fear of flights.

I do not normally read books on flights. I watch the movie or do a crossword puzzle or read a magazine.

I always, always read in airports or on the plane. If I'm going a long way(like my last flight to Africa), I get disposable mysteries/thrillers that I can just leave at my destination. If it's a shorter flight, I take whatever library book I'm reading.
