Climb The Mountain (Zen Poem)

Climb the  mountain

One step at a time,

Let one step follow the other.

 Patience pilgrim and don't look up,

Be silent on your way.

Concentrate,

The mountain isn't going anywhere.

It is bigger and stronger than you,

But it can only wait for you to reach the top -

It sits there like a Buddha -

All you have to do is persevere.

Persevere

And climb the mountain.
