The World Is Going Mad (Some Examples)

(1)  Witness the madness at Fort Hood in Texas.

(2)  Situational ethics make anything possible and defensible in a lot of people's eyes.

(3)  Killing in the name of religion.

(4)  Have you checked out kids video games yet ? Murder, mayhem and carnage.

(5)  Western Civilization is in decline. Look around if you don't believe me.

Is anyone out there of similar opinion ?

The toys for little boys are pretty war oriented too...

I don't know that it's just western civilization. Would you say it's better in say Saudi Arabia?

I don't even know what situational ethics means. Does that mean you don't allow religion to dictate what you consider moral?

It makes one seriously wonder what is happening in this world. Last weekend, a nun friend of mine was murdered in New Mexico. No one has been charged, though the FBI is involved. Life seems to have no value to those who are the "weeds" in our societal garden.
