Four More Years ?

President Barack Obama was heckled at a fundraiser in Los Angeles recently. The hecler was probably a bit of a nut case so I'll not address him here. However, as the man was being dragged from the building or detained or whatever it is that the Secret Service does in such instances the crowd began to chant " four more years " and it hit me that four more years of Obama would probably turn us into a third world country. Just look where his enlightened and transparent leadership (NOT) has gotten us. He has alienated a lot of what remains of his own base and his approvall rating is very low. What we need is a leader not a speech giver or a college professor. Obama is no Lincoln. Hell, he's not even a Ford !

Waking Up

I generally wake up fast. However, as I am getting older I do so more gingerly and with less energy. After all my time is my own and I have no place that I have to be. At least most of the time. The way we view awaking in the morning changes, I think, with age. As a kid, I couldn't wait to get out the door. Now I can't wait to get to the bathroom. It's part of the human cycle. I will say that each new morning offers new possibilities regardless of one' age and that is part of the beauty of life.

Well, my Tigers are 4-0 and we have a tough game on the road at Blacksburg, Virginia next week versus Virginia Tech. I hope that we can make it 5-0, but Frank Beamer teams are always togh to beat. That being said, we have defeated two ranked teams two weeks in a row. Go Tigers !!!
