Corduroy in French translates as " the King's Cloth ". I doubt that you knew that fact. I admit that I, a lover of all things corduroy, did not either. In my closet are several pairs of brown corduroy pants. Obviously I like them.
Today I joined the Corduroy Appreciation Club to be in solidarity with like - minded people. Again, I did not know that such a club even existed. Isn't the internet amazing - sucl a plethora of information. Think corduroy !
When we were childred, we wore corduroy overalls and called them whistle britches, since they whistled when you walked.
