Testyfying before a congressional committee, the Director of the Congressional Budget Office predicted slow economic growth for the next two years. He was aked if more Americans were working now or when President Obama took office. He replied that fewer Americans were working now. Obama and his spin doctors certainly did not welcome that news. The economy will be Obama's bugaboo in this election and the Republican candidate for President should go after him hard on this issue. It is his Achilles heel.

Both sides are going to go after that. Keep in mind that Republicans blocked a lot of regulations that might've helped rein in the financial industry. They were in power when with Clinton they gutted regulations that had worked for many years. Romney, who has connections to Goldman Sachs who some believe caused the most recent collapse, has his own questions to answer. I think both sides should be asked about all of this. Not only what's happened and happening but what can they do about things like jobs going overseas or corporations cutting jobs to keep stock markets happy. There are plenty of questions to go around t6o both parties if Americans can just concentrate long enough to ask them...

Americans had better ask a lot of questions. Oratory does not solve problems - action does...Most Americans are ignorant of what the Constitution embodies. Ron Paul has it spot on in that regard!!

I just read that Ron Paul and Romney are friends and good ones which is why they don't attack each other. Not that I think there's a chance Romney would use him for veep. More likely is Rubio.

Politics produces strange bedfellows...

I am not a big Newt fan but he gave a good speech the other day about what he would do to help the finance system. All sounded like good ideas to me. Maybe Romney should have him be Treasury Secretary.

The bigger question is what cabinet position is Trump expecting? ;)
