Last night I watched Vengeance (2009) a movie starring The French actors Johnny Hallyday and Sophie Testud and a wonderfull Chinese case cast. The neo-noir movie is about a chef whose daughter, son-in-law. and two grandchildren are murdered by a Chinese triad and and the chef who seeks vengeance on his daughter's behalf. Be warned, this man is no ordinary chef. This is the best movie that I have seen in a long time. If you like noir movies, this one you have to see. Ie does contain violence.
Johnny Hallyday is a French icon. He has 18 platinum albums and in the French speaking world is the equal of Elvis Presley. He is cool without trying to be and has a menacing quality about him when he is on the silver screen.
