A Political Comment

The intensity of the vituperative comments concerning the presidential election makes me wish for the election to be tomorrow and to be over . Issues have taken a back seat to mud slinging and malicious diatribes on the part of both sides . Republicans and Democrats , in many cases , have lost any sense of civility and ultimately the republic will suffer as a consequence . A sense of cynicism pervades the comments of pundits and so-called expert political commentators . When issues become secondary to personalities and political spin the system is in deep trouble . America deserves better !
